Greetings to our Unicorn community!

Please allow me to welcome you to what will surely be an EXCELLENT school year! This summer has been one of the hottest on record and I know that we are all ready to come back and welcome cooler temperatures this Fall Semester.

I am happy to report to you that our preliminary State Assessment results are in and we are an A+ campus with a rating of 97! This rating is the result of hard work by every staff member and student on campus. It is the result of interventions and time invested in each student. It is the result of the support that you give our campus when we ask your children to come to tutorials, join a club, play a sport, participate in UIL, or play an instrument. Thank you for your support! We have a strong resolve to keep C.L. Milton Elementary the top-rated campus it is meant to be.

I am incredibly excited to share with you that we have had some upgrades to our facilities that will be very beneficial to our community. First of all, we added 13 parking spaces for our parents and visitors in the front area of the school. We hope that this makes it easier when you visit our campus. Additionally, the new metal canopies we are adding to the front are almost finished. These are going to add much-needed shade for our students during dismissal. Finally, the playground canopy has been replaced. I would like to thank you for the patience you had with us during this process.

As usual, our campus has been cleaned top to bottom and disinfected. We continue to encourage our students and staff to wear masks. Safety protocols continue to be in place to keep your children safe at all times. We have also received updated training on safety protocols that we will be practicing with all our faculty, staff, and students. I urge you to understand that we will be REQUIRING A VALID ID FOR ANYONE VISITING OUR CAMPUS. Thank you for your supporting our efforts to keep everyone safe.
